Barbara Conviser, Director of Research and Quality Services for the Cancer Center of Santa Barbara (CCSB) stops by Radio Causeway to speak about some of the programs and clinical trials taking place at the center. Currently, the CCSB is engaged in a clinical trial of a lung cancer vaccine (Lucanix) that is showing the ability to lengthen and improve the quality of life for patients without side effects. The Santa Barbara clinical trials are being led by Dr. Fred Kass.
